Searching messages

Email search works as an auto-complete. You can search for emails both in the Mailtrap UI (web app) and in our apiary, by the beginning of a message subject, FROM email address, or TO email address.

Email search works as a case-insensitive pattern matching. You can search for emails by: 

• All words from email subject 
• TO email address
• TO name

If any of these fields start with the given search query, the response will return a result. In Mailtrap UI, you can find the search box in the top-left corner and start typing in the search options mentioned above.
