Where does Mailtrap store data?

Mailtrap data is hosted in the USA on AWS and Google servers.

Is Mailtrap GDPR compliant?

Yes, Mailtrap is GDPR compliant. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on May 25, 2018. Mailtrap takes GDPR compliance very seriously and we have implemented appropriate technical and security processes to ensure Mailtrap's full compliance with GDPR. 

What exactly Mailtrap does to achieve GDPR compliance?

We have implemented measures to ensure the protection of personal data, particularly when it is transferred outside of the EU. To check the list of measures we are taking for GDPR compliance, please refer to the resources listed below:

  1. With regard to the users’ data - in the Privacy Policy;
  2. With regard to the data processed as part of the services provision - in the Data Protection Agreement

Additionally, Mailtrap has been ISO 27001 certified. Please see the certificate here.
